Finland won bronze medal in women's basketball at the 31st FISU Summer World University Games in China on Saturday beating Taipei, reported Xinhua.
Finland defeated Taipei by 56 points to 49 in the match and secured third place at the event held in Chengdu, southwest Sichuan Province.
Meanwhile, the host China beat Japan 99-91 to take the gold medal on Saturday, for its third crown of the kind.
Hungary beat Poland 64-52 in the 5th-6th playoff, and the Czech Republic nosed out Brazil 79-74 in the 7th-8th playoff.
