A teenager was killed and another injured in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident at Ylöjärvi, a municipality in Pirkanmaa region late Saturday night, police said in a press release on Sunday.
The accident took place at about 11:30pm when the ATV skidded off the road and turned turtle on Lähdevainiontie at the locality.
The 18 years old driver of the ATV was killed on the spot while another young person was injured in the accident.
Responding to an alarm police and rescue service people rushed to the scene and recovered the body from there.
The Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the deceased and the injured person.
The reason behind the accident could not be known immediately
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
