Meat production decreased by 4% in January-June this year compared to the stipulated period of the previous year, said the Natural Resources Institute Finland –Luke in a release on Tuesday.
Although the production of beef increased in the first six months of 2013, productions of pork, poultry and mutton meat decreased.
According to Luke, the production of beef increased by 5 percent but the productions of pork, poultry and mutton were decreased by 10 percent, three percent and five percent respectively.
In June, the productions of beef and mutton increased by one percent and nine percent respectively while productions of pork and poultry decreased by 10 percent and ,six percent respectively compared to the June 2022.
