Nasima Razmyar, Niina Malm and Matias Mäkynen have been elected Vice-Chairs of the main opposition party in the parliament, Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland-SDP) on Saturday while Mikkel Näkkäläjärvi has been made the Secretary of the party.
The leaders were elected on the second day of the ongoing three-day council of SDP in Jyväskylä.
Earlier on Friday, on the first day of the council, the party delegates elected Antti Lindtman as its Chairperson.
Lindtman replaced the former Prime Minister Sanna Marin, who previously decided to quit the party leadership.
On April 5, Marin announced that she would not continue as the Chairperson of the SDP after the next party council.
Marin made the announcement from a press conference in the parliament just after three days of the parliamentary polls where her party secured third place in the close race election with 43 seats.
