The Border Guard on Monday suspended the Digital Travel Credentials (DTC) border control at Helsinki Airport for departing and arriving traffic.
The decision was taken temporarily due to the current situation at the Eastern border, said the Border Guard in a press relese.
However, registrations for DTC continue at the police service points accordingly.
he disruption in the DTC border control will not affect travel and people can travel by presenting passport at the border control.
The Finnish Border Guard piloted the DTC at Helsinki Airport from 28 August 2023 in cooperation with Finnair, the Finnish Police and Finavia.
