Building costs rose by 6.5 per cent in March 2023 from one year back, according to Statistics Finland.
Among materials, the biggest increases in the year were recorded in heat insulation (30.4%) and house equipment (17.8%).
Costs decreased most per month in steel structures ( minus 0.7%) and windows and doors (minus 0.7%) and frame structures (minus 0,9%).
The costs of materials rose by 9.4 per cent while the prices of services increased by 5.7 per cent from one year ago.
The total index went up by 0.3 per cent from the month before.
