Production of liquid dairy products wanes

Milk production in Finland was reduced by one percent in January-September period compared to the stipulated period of the previous year, according to Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).

In September, production was just over 169 million liters, which is almost same as in the previous year.

The manufacture of liquid dairy products decreased but the manufacture of cheese increased while manufacture of butter was the same in January-September as in the same period a year ago.

Production of liquid dairy products was reduced by two percent and Cheese production increased by four percent.
