At least 50 displaced Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, the Hamas-run health ministry said in a press statement on Friday, reported Xinhua.

The ministry said the attack on Al-Buraq School was "a disgrace to the forehead of humanity."

In a press statement, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians, accusing the United States of supporting Israel in all of its "crimes" in Gaza.

The Israeli army announced in a statement on Friday that it had attacked 15,000 targets in the Gaza Strip since the start of its conflict with Hamas on Oct. 7.

Israeli soldiers had found about 6,000 weapons in the Gaza Strip, including anti-armor missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, rocket-propelled grenades, explosive devices, ammunition, and explosive materials, it noted.

It added that Israeli troops continued to launch military operations to attack Palestinian militants' operations headquarters, missile system infrastructure, command and control centers, government and intelligence targets as well as ground tunnels.

The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said Friday that more than 11,000 Palestinians have been killed since the outbreak of Israel-Hamas conflict. Meanwhile, more than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed, mostly in the initial Hamas attacks on Israel on Oct. 7.
