One person was killed in an accident at an event of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) race at Kokemäki, a municipality in Satakunta region on Saturday afternoon, police said in a press release on Sunday.
The accident took place during the our-wheeled cross-country ATV race organised by the Quad Racing Finland.
At certain stage of the event, one driver, participating in the race met the accident and died on the spot.
The police, however, did not disclose detail information about the accident and the identity of the deceased.
The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reasons behind the accident.
